Our volunteers make our program successful!

We are always looking for coaches, Snack Shack volunteers, maintenance help, and we are building our pool of available referees to officiate games.

Coaches

Our volunteer coaches are the backbone of this club. Some of us were brought up playing soccer, but others have learned “on the job” so to speak. There are many resources available to coaches regardless of experience with soccer, not the least of which is our established pool of repeat coaches and board members. Referees

RNYSA is working to build up a pool of US Soccer Federation (USSF) certified referees locally. To this end, RNYSA is willing to reimburse newly certified USSF referees for their certification costs and to help purchase uniforms and equipment. Certified referees are in demand all over the state, and a USSF certification will enable you to earn extra money officiating games locally and in surrounding areas. Concessions

Soccer fans and players get hungry, and RNYSA serves our fans and players from our Snack Shack! If you would like to volunteer off of the field, you can serve up snacks to help us raise money for the club. Please Contact Us or message a board member if you can pick up some shifts in the Snack Shack.

Maintenance

Our fields look great, and it’s no accident that they got to be this way. Our dedicated field maintenance crew is out there all season cutting the grass and maintaining the field markings. If this sounds like a way that you would like to help out, please let us know.
