First of all, thank you parents, grandparents, siblings, extended family, and honorary family members, for supporting your soccer players in their development in the beautiful game here at RNYSA. You are having a positive impact on your athlete’s life and this community.

Please set an example for your children by keeping the following things in mind:

• All of the folks in positions of responsibility within RNYSA, from the board of directors, to the coaches, to the field maintenance crew, are volunteers. They are giving their valuable time and energy to making this program a success for your children and this community, and they deserve your respect.

• Always be supportive of our young players - your own and everyone else’s. Be positive and celebrate their effort, without making them feel bad for their mistakes.

• Be a cheerleader, but leave the coaching to the coaches, and let the referees call the match. If your match has a youth referee, respect their decisions as final.
